Made in the new Fainplast factory of Ascoli Piceno, the BRAND new material is versatile and suitable for the footwear industry
A debut at Lineapelle for Fainplast, the Ascoli-Piceno based company founded in 1993, and reference in Europe for the sector of plastic materials, guided by Battista Faraotti, together with his sons Daniele and Roberta.
From 20 to 22 September in Milan (Hall 24, Stand P1 – P3), Fainplast will be present with EVATech, an EVA compound, particularly useful and appreciated in the footwear industry.
Suitable for the production of soles, midsoles, slippers and other applications, EVATech was designed by the R&D department of Fainplast, to create crosslinked expanded products using injection technology; the result is a material that is lightweight, scratchproof, with good physical and mechanical properties and excellent tactile appeal and grip.
EVATech is also distinguished by being available in different specifications of hardness, density and colours, for any type of expansion, according to customers’ requirements.
Fainplast is making key investments in EVATech and other products in its range, thus responding to the transformation speed of the market. In the current year, the company invested 4.5 million in machinery, equipment and facilities, which are added to those allocated last year for the purchase and transformation of the new EVATech factory, also based in Ascoli Piceno. The factory, which will start operating at the end of 2016, occupies an indoor space of 3000 square meters on a total area of 20,000.
The entire EVATech production will be transferred to this factory, where a new highly automated production line was installed able to reach a production output of 3500 tons per year, with increased sales that the Sales Manager Vladimiro Fratini, expects will reach 10 million euros in 2017, equivalent to about 10% of the entire Fainplast turnover, which in 2015 reached 105 million euro.
